Shandaken Eagle Coloring Page

Children's coloring contest. Coloring pages can be printed for anyone 17 years or younger. You can pick one up at the library or download one phoenicialibrary.org/kids. Anyone who wants to create their own eagle drawing is welcome to do so. Drawings and coloring pages should include child's name and phone number somewhere on the artwork. Coloring pages and artwork should be submitted to Phoenicia or Pine Hill libraries for display for the month of August. Due no later than August 15th. Artwork can be picked up at the libraries until September 1st.
Children's essay contest for Shandaken Eagle Day. For kids ages 17 and under. The essay can be anything related to the Eagle Statue or the history of Shandaken. Max 1 page essay. The winner will be honored at the Eagle Day ceremony and will be asked to read their essay. Essays should be completed and handed in to the Phoenicia Library no later than Saturday, August 15th. Include the name, age, and phone number of the child. Essays can be picked up at the Phoenicia Library until September 1st.
Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum Library Pass. The pass covers entrance for 5 people (at least one of them should be an adult). Ask at the desk for more details on how to reserve a pass!
